Indoor vs outdoor balls - do they really matter?

Playing at a facility that has both indoor and outdoor courts. Do I really need different balls for each?

Using indoor balls outside means they'll crack quickly. And outdoor balls bounce weird on indoor surfaces.

Just keep a sleeve of each in your bag. They're not expensive.

Yes! Indoor balls are softer with larger holes. Outdoor balls are harder to handle wind.

The Dura Fast 40 is the tournament standard for outdoor. Franklin X-40 works great indoors.
