Best paddle for beginners under $100?

Just getting into the sport and looking for my first real paddle (currently using a borrowed one). Budget is around $100. What do you recommend?

Check out the Engage Encore - it's slightly over $100 but the quality is worth it.

Selkirk SLK Halo is excellent for beginners. Good control, nice sweet spot, around $80.

HEAD Radical Tour is a solid choice. Forgiving and well-balanced.

Whatever you get, make sure to try different grip sizes. That matters more than people realize.

I started with the Onix Graphite Z5 and still use it 2 years later. Great all-around paddle.
